Resurgent Rockets Can Crack Nuggets
Houston Rockets have struggled to get going this season but are 4-2 over their last six games and the 13.00 Championship hopefuls can continue their revival at high-flying Denver Nuggets.
Rockets can fire in Denver (Nov 14th, 2.00am)
Houston Rockets gave Golden State Warriors their biggest test in the post-season last year, but have endured a stuttering start this season.
The Rockets head to Denver Nuggets next and can secure a victory against a team who have begun to falter. Denver made an excellent start, but have now lost three on the spin and have a few injury fears.
Houston have a losing record overall but have been better on the road, with a record of 4-3, and can claim the spoils at the Pepsi Center at 2.35.
Lakers can avenge Blazers defeat (Nov 15th, 3.30am)
Portland ensured LeBron James’ Lakers career got off to a losing start, as the Trail Blazers claimed a win in Oregon in the opening round of NBA games.
The LA team went 0-3 at the start of the season but have found their groove and are now 7-6 overall.
Portland are a quality outfit and sit second in the Western Conference but so far only four of their games have been on the road – and the Lakers now boast a strong record at the Staples Center.
The Lakers are 4-1 in their last five home games, losing only to 10.00 Championship shots Toronto Raptors during that time, and can claim a morale boosting win over Portland in this match-up.
Denver can dismantle Atlanta (Nov 16th, 2.00am)
Denver, who are 3.50 to win the Northwest Division, may be set for a fourth straight defeat against Houston but they can bounce back when they host Atlanta Hawks in their next game.
Atlanta have a 3-10 record, the third worst in the NBA, and have managed just one win on their travels this season.
That success came at Cleveland Cavaliers and Denver will provide a much sterner test, so the Nuggets should be able to secure a convincing win.
