Bears aiming to maul Vikings

Sunday night and Monday night football sees two big games on the schedule, with the NFL season hotting up nicely as the play-offs edge closer.

Bears out to blunt Vikings

The meeting of the Chicago Bears and the Minnesota Vikings at Soldier Field on Sunday evening is well set to be a crunch clash for the NFC North title, especially with the Green Bay Packers treading water.

Heading into the match the Bears hold a one-game advantage of Minnesota, with the two teams scheduled to meet again on the final day of the regular season in what could be a classic showdown.

So, should Chicago come out on top on Sunday, they will give themselves some breathing space for the crucial run-in to the play-offs.

The Bears have claimed a three-match winning streak in recent weeks, but with the New York Jets, Buffalo Bills and Detroit Lions their victims, it is tough to call just how well Matt Nagy’s side are really travelling.

The Vikings have also come out on top against both the Jets and the Lions recently, so a tough, tense tussle appears to be in prospect, with home advantage likely to make the difference in the favour of the Bears, who are 1.74 to win the game.

The Monday Night game is a massive clash between the LA Rams and the Kansas City Chiefs in the Coliseum in Los Angeles.

Chiefs and Rams to serve up cracker

The two teams share the joint best record in the NFL, with the Chiefs particularly eye-catching behind the record-breaking form of quarterback Patrick Mahomes, with their lowest points return in any game the 26 they scored last week in defeating the Arizona Cardinals.

The Rams, meanwhile, have won all five home games they have played so far, with their lone loss coming on the road at the New Orleans Saints.

Like the Chiefs, offense is the name of the game for the Rams, whose lowest return this season is 23 points.

However, Kansas City, 5.65 to win by 1-6 points, may just have enough to get over the line against their fellow 9-1 record rivals, with a points-fest very much in the offing as Mahomes goes arm-to-arm with Jared Goff.

The Chiefs at 2.40 to win the game is another decent option, while given the talent on show, 1.57 for over 58.5 points in total may also be worth taking a close look at.
