Roma relish Udinese visits

With the international break over, Serie A returns on Saturday and AS Roma head to Udinese hoping to continue a remarkable winning run in this match-up.

The Giallorossi have won their last ten meetings with the team from Udine and, having lost only one of their last seven league games, Roma should have enough to make it 11 victories in a row.

Friuli just fine for Roma

Six of those ten victories have come by a single-goal margin, so you may want to look to the visitors to edge home against the Friuli on Saturday, with Roma 3.45 to win by a one-goal margin and 8.50 to secure a 1-0 triumph.

To do so they will have to tighten up in defence though, having not kept a clean sheet in their last four games in all competitions.

Fiorentina aim to end run of draws

On Sunday, Fiorentina head to Bologna hoping to extend a winning run of their own, having secured 2-1 victories in both meetings of the two teams last season.

La Viola have drawn their last four league games 1-1, but will hope to go one better on Sunday and are 9.75 to secure another 2-1 win over a Bologna side who have drawn 2-2 in three of their last four Serie A games.

One man to keep an eye on is Federico Chiesa, who is 3.75 to score at any time, having netted in both wins for Fiorentina last season.

Rome clash promises goals

Also on Sunday, the Stadio Olimpico hosts a heavyweight clash between Lazio and AC Milan.

One place and one point is all that separates the two teams heading into the game, with the Biancocelesti having not kept a clean sheet in their last five games in all competitions.

Milan have been even more porous in defence, with just a solitary clean sheet to show for their efforts in their last 12 outings.

Therefore, you can expect goals in the Eternal City, with over 3.5 goals in the game available at 2.90, while Lazio striker Ciro Immobile – who scored a hat-trick in this fixture last season – is 3.60 to net the first goal of the game.

Derby the time to hit form

The late game on Sunday sees Genoa and Sampdoria meet in the Derby della Lanterna at the Stadio Luigi Ferraris.

As the ‘away’ team, Samp have won their last five visits to Genoa, keeping clean sheets in four of those victories. However, the first Genoese derby of the season arrives with both sides out of form, with Genoa without a win in their last six games and Samp winless in their last four outings.

With that poor form in mind, a draw at 3.30 appears to have some merit, while 2.85 for Samp to extend their winning run in this fixture could also be of interest.

One player who will be eager to rediscover his own personal from will be ‘home’ striker Krzysztof Piatek, who has gone five games without a goal after scoring nine in his first seven Serie A appearances.

He is 2.00 to score at any time and put a lid on suggestions that talk of a possible big-money move has affected him in recent weeks.
