Serie A Preview 29/10

Lazio play host to Inter Milan in Serie A on Monday evening, with the home side out to avenge a 3-2 loss in this fixture last season, which cost them a place in the Champions League.

Both sides have made a decent start to the new season and are inside the top four going into the weekend round of games.

Recent record favours Nerazzurri

Prior to their 2-0 midweek Champions League loss at Barcelona, Inter had won seven games in a row in all competitions, keeping three clean sheets during that period.

That hints at them not being rock-solid at the back, so Inter to win and both teams to score at 4.45 might well tempt you in, especially when you factor in that Lazio have only won one of the last five meetings of these two teams.

Inter at 4.30 to win by a one-goal margin is also something to consider, with all but one of their seven wins in their recent hot streak having come by such a margin.

Icardi always key for Inter

If Inter are to return to Milan with all three points, as usual, much will depend on Argentina striker Mauro Icardi, who has scored six times in his last seven club outings and broken back into the national team set-up after being somehow overlooked for the World Cup finals in the summer.

He is 2.20 to score at any time in the Stadio Olimpico and 5.00 to score the first goal of the game, with all of his three Serie A goals to date this season having broken the deadlock in those games.
