Another title step for Juve

For those who doubt Juventus will win Serie A this season, every week provides an opportunity to change your mind with the Old Lady now as short as 1.09 to claim the honours for an eighth time in a row.

Old Lady has started singing

Massimiliano Allegri’s men are on the road this weekend but, with their closest challengers also away from home, Juve have the benefit of playing first and can increase the pressure on both Napoli and Inter Milan by securing another three points.

It is absolutely no surprise to see the Bianconeri installed as 1.68 favourites to win at Fiorentina as they have won all bar one of their first 13 games – a surprise 1-1 home draw with Genoa – and have won seven of the past eight meetings against La Viola.

The best that the home side could seemingly hope for is a share of the spoils, priced at 4.05, as they go into the clash having drawn their last five games, while a home win at 6.00 looks tempting but surely just for the romantics.

Inter to enjoy capital trip

Inter Milan face a tricky trip to Roma, with Giallorossi boss Eusebio Di Francesco under pressure following a disappointing start to the season.

Both sides go into the game on the back of Champions League losses but Inter appear to be in a better frame of mind and can repeat their success of last season at the Stadio Olimpico by securing the win as 2.70 favourites, with Roma priced at 2.80 and the draw 3.55.

La Dea can dash Napoli hopes

Napoli may well have slipped to third by the time they take to the field on Monday and the pressure of playing catch up could take its toll.

Atalanta have bounced back to something close to their best, after a horror start to the season, and can upset the odds at 3.50 to make it a fourth win in six meetings against the Partenopei.

A recent 4-1 hammering of title contenders Inter should give the home side confidence, while Carlo Ancelotti will be looking for his 2.20 favourites to bounce back from a 0-0 draw with basement side Chievo last time out in Serie A.
