Transfer Round Up

Cristiano Ronaldo’s switch from Real Madrid to Juventus is unlikely to be topped as the biggest transfer of the summer window this year.

The Italian giants already had a stranglehold on the Scudetto having won seven Serie A titles in a row, but it may help Juve claim the prize that has proved most elusive over the course of the last couple of decades.

Juventus to win the Champions League @ 7.50

Ronaldo was the key man in Los Blancos’ three consecutive Champions League titles and has already stated he hopes to claim Europe’s top prize with Juve.  The Bianconeri won the last of their two European crowns back in 1996 but they have finished as runners-up twice in the last four editions of the tournament and the arrival of the five-time Ballon d’Or winner could be the missing piece in their Champions League puzzle.

Eden Hazard – Club After Summer Transfer Window – Barcelona @ 29.00

Chelsea have reportedly decided to reject all offers for Eden Hazard but the Belgian is 2.25 to remain at Stamford Bridge.  Real Madrid are the 1.29 favourites to land the forward and Los Blancos will definitely bring in at least one marquee attacker this summer – how could they not after selling Ronaldo?

Barcelona are outsiders to sign the Blues star at 29.00 but the speculation in Catalonia is they have made Hazard their top target.  Some sources say Hazard would prefer a move to Real over Barca but that appears to be due to comments he made a while ago when he spoke of his admiration for Zinedine Zidane.  With the French legend now gone, Hazard could yet have a change of heart and the big price on the 27-year-old making the move to Camp Nou looks a tempting outside chance.

Liverpool’s keeper hunt

Liverpool’s hunt for a new keeper continues after Loris Karius’ Champions League final clanger and Italian reports say Roma’s Alisson Becker is set for Anfield.  The Brazilian is 1.40 to make the move to Merseyside, but if the deal falls through the Reds will have to line-up alternative targets and are 3.50 to raid relegated Stoke for Jack Butland or 12.00 to prise Kasper Schmeichel away from Leicester.

World Cup movers

There were a number of players who caught the eye at the World Cup in Russia and Eintracht Frankfurt seemingly face a real fight to keep hold of Croatian forward Ante Rebic.

Ante Rebic – Club After Summer Transfer Window – Bayern Munich @ 13.00

Rebic was already a star in the Bundesliga before he announced himself on the world stage in Russia.  The attacker helped Eintracht down Bayern Munich in the DFB Pokal last season and was then tipped to follow Niko Kovac to Bavaria.  Since the World Cup ended he has been linked with Manchester United, who are 3.50 to land him, but chances are Bayern will still want to speak to Rebic when he returns from his extended summer break.

Yerry Mina – Club After Summer Transfer Window – To Stay at Barcelona @ 3.00

Barcelona snapped up Colombian Yerry Mina before the World Cup but it has been suggested the Catalan giants are keen to send him out on loan before bringing him back next year.  It looks unlikely they will seek an outright sale, and as loan deals don’t count the 3.00 to remain at Camp Nou looks great value.
