NBA Preview 23-25/10

Toronto Raptors have made an excellent start to the campaign and they can make the Charlotte Hornets their next victim.

Raptors can beat the spread

Toronto lead the way in the Eastern Conference after three games and claimed a 117-113 win at a decent Washington Wizards side last time out despite putting out a weakened team.

The Raptors’ biggest statement so far has been a 12-point win over Boston Celtics at home, while they also beat the Cleveland Cavaliers by the same margin in Canada.

Charlotte will contest their third contest in a four-game road swing and have picked up back-to-back wins over Orlando Magic and Miami Heat.

The Hornets could be contenders for a spot in the postseason, but Toronto should have too much quality and can beat a -9.5 handicap in the point spread at 1.90.

Grizzlies road woes to continue

Memphis Grizzlies have a few quality players but their early season form on the road has been woeful.

The Grizzlies have lost all three of their away trips so far and in every one they’ve lost by at least 16 points.

Utah lost by just one point to champions Golden State in their last game in Salt Lake City and should be able to beat a -10 handicap in the point spread @ 1.88.

Philly can raid Detroit

After losing their opener to Boston Celtics, the Philadelphia 76ers have recorded back-to-back home wins.

The Sixers head to Detroit next and can pick up their first win on the road at Little Caesars Arena.

Nets to stun Cavs

The Cavs haven’t adjusted well to life without LeBron James and are 0-3 so far.

It may get worse before it gets better for the Eastern Conference’s bottom team and Brooklyn can collect their second win of the campaign at the Quicken Loans Arena.
