Daily Fantasy Premier League GW11: Hot picks

Round 11 of Premier League offers an additional dose of football on Saturday night, as Wolverhampton vs Tottenham is scheduled for 20:45 CET! If you have access to TV coverage, you can watch four full matches on Saturday!

Saturday starts out with Bournemouth vs Manchester United at 13:30. As usual, the early match is excluded from the big fantasy tournaments. Then there are four matches at 16:00. Arsenal vs Liverpool will be a great game at 18:30, before Kane & Co finishes the day off. We cannot wait!

The top names

The two biggest favourites in this round are Manchester City and Chelsea. We like Manchester City best; as Chelsea are playing a Crystal Palace side that we suspect is a little bit better than recent results indicate. Fantasy managers should consider both City and Chelsea closely, however.

Last week we pointed to RIYAD MAHREZ (12.3M), and he delivered by scoring the only goal in the match against Tottenham. The Algerian is in great form, and seems secure in the starting XI for now. His price is still moderate, compared to for example SERGIO AGUERO (14.8M). We feel that Mahrez offers best value of the two. Other interesting fantasy names on City these days are RAHEEM STERLING (14.4M) and DAVID SILVA (12.9M). Both played very well against Tottenham. Sterling has not scored for City since September, but against Spurs, he sure looked like the next goal is right around the corner. As Manchester City are playing on Sunday, there is some element of uncertainty associated with the team’s line-ups. Notably, they have a midweek Champions League match against Shakhtar three days after the encounter with Southampton, and Pep could consider resting some players for that.

We also think that Liverpool attackers should be considered once again, even though the opposition is tough. Arsenal will be hard to beat perhaps, but on the flip side it is not the most difficult thing to score on them! SADIO MANE (11.8M) scored twice against Cardiff and is maybe the best candidate, alongside MOHAMED SALAH (11.6M). The Liverpool attacking trio of Salah, Firmino and Mane has not been at its best so far this season, but there are signs that we are headed towards a very good period for these guys. If Crystal Palace can score twice on Arsenal, we must assume that Liverpool can get some goals too!

In the bargain bin

Watford beat Huddersfield 3-0 on Saturday, and except for the unfortunate 0-4 loss to Bournemouth, they have been doing really well this year. They had one player sent off very early in that match, so the result should be viewed with that in mind. Both ROBERTO PEREYRA (8.3M) and GERARD DEULOFEU (8.0M) have impressed us. Pereyra is a really good player, that has a strong shot, and even if his goal this weekend was not among the most impressive ones, he has great class. Deulofeu is a winger that likes to take on defenders head on. On Saturday, he scored an amazing goal after dribbling past two defenders and shooting from an angle. The Spaniard has had trouble with injuries, and was subbed after 68 mins probably with that in mind, but he is bound to get more and more playing time for the next weeks. Let us all remember that even though he never became a success in Barcelona, he played some incredible games for Milan before that. Not to mention his partnership with Lukaku in Everton a couple of years ago, where he served the power striker countless perfect passes into the box. We never understood why he was benched in some of his time at Everton! He is just too good for the bench in Premier League.

Watford are playing away to Newcastle, a team far from being in form. If you somehow do not want attackers from Watford, you should consider the defenders, as Newcastle really struggle to score goals these days. KIKO FEMENIA (6.6M), ADRIAN MARIAPPA (5.9M) and ADAM MASINA (6.4) are all good options, alongside keeper BEN FOSTER (6.5M). Please check line-ups before the match, as the Watford defence line is far from settled.

Everton defenders on the menu

Our other recommendation for defence trio is Everton. They have a nice fixture, welcoming Brighton to Goodison Park. Brighton have only scored three goals in away matches this season, although some of those matches were against very tough opposition. Their last win against Wolves was a bit lucky, and we entertain the notion that Brighton not really are as good as three wins in a row seems to indicate. Everton struggled to score against Crystal Palace in their last home match, but in the end won 2-0. Honestly, we believe that Crystal Palace are better than Brighton right now. Wingbacks SEAMUS COLEMAN (8.8M) and LUCAS DIGNE (9.1M) both offer attacking potential, while MICHAEL KEANE (8.1M) is an excellent header, who could get lucky on a corner or a free kick. The chance for clean sheet should be fairly good, regardless.
