Celtics can take Raptors revenge
The Eastern Conference looks to be a three-way fight between Boston Celtics, Toronto Raptors and Milwaukee Bucks, particularly if Philadelphia 76ers fail to solve their issues on the road, and two of those teams meet overnight on Friday.
Celtics can take advantage of Toronto slump (Nov 17th, 00:05am)
Toronto claimed an eye-catching win over their conference rivals in Canada last month but at 1.80 in the moneyline the Celtics can avenge that loss at TD Garden.
The Raptors go into the game on the back of successive home defeats to New Orleans Pelicans and Detroit Pistons – both sides they should have beaten on paper – and the Celtics have been strong at home.
Boston are 4-1 at home and having already claimed a win over the Bucks in Boston, should be able to beat a -2 handicap in the spread at 1.92.
No Curry a worry for GSW (Nov 18th, 01:30am)
Golden State Warriors are without talisman Steph Curry due to a groin injury and unsurprisingly that has had an impact on their form.
The champions remain the team to beat and are the 1.57 favourites to complete a three-peat by taking the Championship, but for the next few weeks they may struggle in Curry’s absence.
Normally you’d expect a Warriors win at Dallas Mavericks but the Mavs have been in good form and go into this match-up seeking a fourth successive home win.
Dallas could be worth a look in the moneyline in this one against Golden State, who have won just two of their last five games.
No magic for Wizards when Portland arrive (Nov 18th, 11:00pm)
Washington Wizards may face a battle to feature in the postseason after a 5-9 start to the season, leaving them 11th in the Eastern Conference.
The capital team have won their last three in a row but none of those victories have come against sides with winning records and 81.00 Championship hopefuls Portland may prove too big a test.
The Blazers head to Washington on Sunday night with a 10-4 record overall and with them in second spot in the Western Conference, they seem on course for a road win.
